Full-Time Medication Aide (Overnights)

Wage Range:
$19 – $23/hour
Schedule:
Full-time, Overnight Shift (10:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m.)

Countryside Living is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to join our overnight team. This full-time role includes medication administration, light housekeeping, laundry, assisting residents with dressing/showering, and ensuring a clean and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications accurately and on time
• Provide support with daily living tasks (dressing, showers, etc.)
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and meal service
• Monitor and document resident health and behavior
• Respond to resident calls promptly and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety protocols

Requirements:
• SD Medication Aide credentials preferred — willing to train the right person
• High school diploma required
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Part-Time Cook

Position: Part-Time Cook
Location: Countryside Living | Independent & Assisted Living
Starting Wage: $17/hour or DOE
Schedule: Part-time; flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays

Job Summary:
Countryside Living is seeking a dependable and self-motivated Part-Time Cook to prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for our residents. This position is responsible for meal preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following food safety standards. Much of the work is completed independently, but you will also be part of a supportive team that works together to provide an enjoyable dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals for 80+ residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely, attractive, and sanitary manner
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and special dietary instructions
  • Assist with meal setup and ensure food is served at proper temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, food preparation areas, and equipment
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed
  • Properly store food and monitor inventory levels
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
  • Work cooperatively with other dietary staff to ensure smooth meal service
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to follow recipes, directions, and food safety procedures
  • Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
