Position: Full-Time Medication Aide
Location: Countryside Living | Independent & Assisted Living Community
Wage Range: $19 – $23/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Overnight Shift (10:30 p.m.-6:30 a.m.)
Countryside Living is hiring a compassionate and dependable Medication Aide to join our overnight team. This full-time role includes medication administration, light housekeeping, laundry, assisting residents with dressing/showering, and ensuring a clean and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications accurately and on time
• Provide support with daily living tasks (dressing, showers, etc.)
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and meal service
• Monitor and document resident health and behavior
• Respond to resident calls promptly and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all safety protocols
Requirements:
• SD Medication Aide credentials preferred — willing to train the right person
• High school diploma required
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Job Summary:
Countryside Living is seeking an independent, self-motivated Medication Aide to provide compassionate care and support for our residents. This position is responsible for administering medications, assisting with daily living tasks, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications correctly and in a timely manner
- Assist residents with dressing, showering, and other daily living needs
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Serve meals, prepare dining areas, and maintain sanitation standards
- Monitor and document resident behavior, weight, blood pressure, and medication effects
- Report any changes in resident health or medication concerns to nursing staff
- Respond promptly to residents’ calls for assistance
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all facility policies and procedures
- Work cooperatively with staff to provide high-quality care
Qualifications:
- South Dakota Medication Aide credentials preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- High school diploma required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Position: Part-Time Resident Assistant
Countryside Living | Independent & Assisted Living Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Assistant to join our evening team. This part-time position plays an important role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The 4-8 p.m. shift focuses on assisting with evening routines, including meal service, light housekeeping, personal care, and ensuring a comfortable transition into the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Assistance: Help with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of the evening meal, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.
- Light Cleaning: Maintain a clean and safe environment by completing tasks such as tidying common areas, wiping down surfaces, and assisting with laundry if needed.
- Personal Care: Assist residents with showers, helping maintain their personal hygiene and dignity.
- Compression Socks: Safely remove compression socks for residents as needed.
- Resident Interaction: Provide friendly and respectful interaction to ensure residents feel valued and supported.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to ensure resident needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving, housekeeping, or food service is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting as needed to assist residents safely.
- Patience, kindness, and a passion for working with seniors.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Evening shift: 4-9 p.m.
- May include weekends or holidays as needed.
